AMI Center 1: An Introduction to AMI Database
This first tutorial in the series will cover how AMI DB fits within the architecture of AMI Center and more widely in AMI. We will cover how data is stored, the idea of AMI Center Sessions and how they relate to public and temporary tables. We will then use SQL (Structure Query Language) to create a table, inspect its structure, add data to it and finally retrieve data from it. Sometimes we need to change the structure of, or modify the data in, a table and we will demonstrate how this can be done. Finally we will demonstrate the differences between public and temporary tables.
